Dr. Khomotso Kganyago

Khomotso Kganyago has a PhD in Solid State Physics from the University of Limpopo. He is a senior manager with broad experience in all aspects of High Performance Computing (HPC), IT auditing and financial management. He has managed and implemented the HP Storage Area Network, Assets Register, Disaster Recovery, Technology Refresh, Information Security Strategy, HPC Backup and Archiving, Cisco Network Security, and Blue Gene for Africa (BG4Africa) projects. His field of expertise ranges from cutting-edge, service-oriented architecture to remove technology silos and to create an integrated infrastructure to produce an impressive ROI, and the development of the operational plans and business strategy. Other fields of expertise also include education and capacity building, technology and project management, and risk and public finance management. Dr Kganyago’s focus is presently on working in the area of research and development.
