Prof. Laetus Lategan
 Laetus O.K. Lategan is currently the Dean: Research and Development at the Central University of Technology, Free State, where he takes managerial responsibility for research development at this university. He holds doctorates in philosophy and systematic theology and is a licensed pastor of the Dutch Reformed Church. He has published more than 100 books, monographs, articles, papers, and the like on topics in higher education, philosophy, ethics and research development as author or co-author. He is a rated researcher with the National Research Foundation in South Africa and a grantholder as well as from other funding agencies. He is the project leader and chief editor for a research series on research development practices and editor of the Journal for New Generation Sciences (ISNN 1684 4998). Students in psychology, higher education, business administration and biomedical technology have completed studies under his supervision. Prof. Lategan is also an extraordinary professor in the Faculty of Theology at the University of the Free State.
